Magazines shipped to Ohio

Ohio state law sets no magazine-capacity limit, so standard-capacity magazines ship directly to your door with no dealer involved. Two local points matter. During the deer gun seasons a straight-wall rifle or shotgun may hold no more than three rounds, whatever the magazine could take. And a few cities, Columbus among them, have passed magazine ordinances that are still being argued in court under the state preemption law, ORC 9.68.
