Buying a handgun online in Ohio

Handguns ship to the Ohio FFL dealer you name, and you must be 21 to take the transfer. The dealer completes Form 4473 and the NICS check with you; there is no state permit to purchase and no waiting period. Since June 2022 a qualifying adult may carry concealed without a license, while county sheriffs still issue the CHL, which helps across state lines.
